Happy Thursday!

Lub is a yellow-spotted salamander and was created with help from my friend Blu.

In the real world, yellow-spotted salamanders live most of their lives underground and prefer hiding in dark, moist places like burrows or under leaf litter. They can even excrete poison from glands on their neck when frightened! What’s especially neat about these critters is that their embryos have a symbiotic relationship with a special type of algae. Truly, amazing critters of the undergrowth!
